I don't really trip of light skin vs dark skin but I realize those issues still exist in the world.

I loved Gabby Sidibe - she is awesome! I felt the beauty of her spirit immediately.

Thank you for the compliment! I love my hair too! :o)Chocolatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14165623572188814010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20764172.post-61090970511219658822009-12-03T14:41:38.705-08:002009-12-03T14:41:38.705-08:00I heard of the book and Sapphire, but I only glanc...I heard of the book and Sapphire, but I only glanced at it. I saw the movie a few weeks ago. I noticed that the darker-skinned women were either the "victims" or the "evil" ones while the light skinned ladies were the "rescuers".

Aside from that, I thought the actress playing Precious was adorable, and did her part very well. I wouldn't want to watch it again, some parts were so intense, broke my heart.

PS I love you hair!Chrissystinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01994849683585541716noreply@blogger.com
